Filtering again

The weather has heated up a lot lately. Daytime temps have been reaching into the seventies and I'm filtering again.

The filters I use to pre-filter the oil are made of silk screen fabric. They had gotten pretty gunked up and flow was down to practically zero.

I cleaned them in a solution of warm water and Simply Green (20% or so). I soaked the filters overnight and rinsed them with water. After drying they were still slightly oily but worked great. I got good flow once again. The goal for this summer is to stock up on oil that will last me through the winter. I'd like to end the summer with 350 gallons of filtered oil.
